jixmo talks you through the whole setup out loud — listen for its voice prompts along the way.

Start WiFi Setup

Press the small button twice

jixmo announces an 8-digit network name out loud ("My WiFi name is...")

This number is the WiFi name to select on your phone

Connect Phone to Device

Open WiFi settings on your phone

Wait a few seconds until the 8-digit network name appears

Select the announced 8-digit network name

Wait until your phone is connected

iPhone / iPad

The setup page usually opens automatically

Enter the name of the WiFi network jixmo should connect to

Enter the WiFi password

Save settings — jixmo confirms out loud and restarts

Connecting to an iPhone hotspot? Open the iPhone's Hotspot settings and enable "Maximize Compatibility" — this is required for jixmo to see the 2.4 GHz network.

Android

Open Google Chrome

Enter: http://jixmo.setup

The "http://" prefix is required

Enter the name of the WiFi network jixmo should connect to

Enter the WiFi password and save settings
